20 November 2026
One Day.
One Childhood.
One World, Live.
The day children everywhere connect.
On 20 November, children across the planet will take part in one shared act of hope: saying hello to someone their age, somewhere else in the world - sharing stories, laughing, asking questions, listening and discovering that someone far away is not so far away after all.
Partner with us to power a global signal of hope.
A simple, human moment.
- Say hello.
- Share a story.
- Ask a question.
- Learn a greeting.
- Send a hope.
- Discover someone new.
For children, Earthrise:Live is simple: a moment of curiosity, joy and connection with children somewhere else on Earth.
The day children connect
across the world.
In a world that can feel increasingly divided, Earthrise:Live creates one simple act of unity: children connecting with children.
Some will meet live. Some will exchange video postcards. Some will take part through shared activities. All will be part of a safe, joyful, teacher-led global moment built around hope, curiosity and connection.
This is not a passive lesson or a conventional campaign. It is a shared day of hello, discovery and belonging.
Built from a model that has already worked.
Earthrise:Live builds on a global connection model with a proven track record. The original events connected almost 250,000 children from more than 3,000 classrooms in 63 countries.
That early proof showed something powerful: when children are given a safe way to meet across borders, they respond with curiosity, warmth and joy.
Now, with a much larger outreach infrastructure and a dedicated school-facing delivery model, Earthrise:Live is designed to scale the idea responsibly.
Across the original global connection events.
Across time zones, languages and continents.
Proof that teacher-led participation can scale.
Designed to scale, responsibly.
Earthrise:Live is supported by WhatSchool, a global school data platform covering two million schools. That gives the movement the reach to invite up to 20 times as many schools as our previous events.
The child-facing experience is delivered through nov20.org, a school-facing platform providing registration, matching, teacher guidance, time-zone planning and safe participation resources.

Early partners will help shape the movement, support global participation, and be recognised as the organisations that helped make the first Earthrise:Live moment possible.
Why partners join Earthrise:Live.
Global visibility with purpose
Associate your organisation with a hopeful international moment reaching children, schools, families, educators and communities around the world.
A story people want to share
Children connecting across borders is human, visual and emotionally powerful. It creates content people want to watch, share and remember.
Measurable impact
Partners receive a post-event impact report covering registered schools, participating countries, estimated children involved, exchanges completed, languages represented, stories gathered and partner contribution.
Employee engagement
Opportunities may include translation support, campaign amplification, technical readiness, regional activation, fundraising and behind-the-scenes volunteering. Employees will not have unsupervised access to children through the programme.
High-value content
Create authentic stories of unity, hope and global connection for internal communications, ESG reporting, leadership platforms, social media and media relations.
Safe, tasteful brand association
Sponsor recognition is mission-aligned and proportionate. The child-facing experience remains protected, teacher-led and non-commercial.

It doesn't need to cost the earth to support the earth.
Three layers. One movement.
Earthrise:Live is the global public, partner and media-facing movement: the story, the signal and the shared moment.
Partners help make it possible. They do not own the child-facing experience.
Movement
The global movement and partner-facing identity.
Delivery
The school-facing participation site for registration, guidance and matching.
Reach
The global school data platform supporting outreach at scale.
Together, they combine a hopeful global story, a safe school delivery model and the reach to invite schools around the world.
Child-centred. Safe by design.
Non-commercial in schools.
Earthrise:Live is built around a simple principle: children should experience the day as a moment of connection, not as a marketing campaign.
Participation is school-led and teacher-controlled. nov20.org provides guidance, registration, matching support and participation resources. Sponsor visibility sits around the movement, media, reporting and enabling infrastructure - not inside children's personal interactions.
When sponsors are recognised in our communications, it is with gratitude to the schools and educators who make the day possible.
This protects the integrity of the event and gives partners a cleaner, more credible role: they are helping make the moment possible.
